How many physical fitness tests did the recruits pass before joining the army?
There is no unified national physical fitness test for recruits, and there is no unified test content and standard. Before joining the army, there were only physical examination standards for citizens to be recruited.

The "Physical Examination Standard for Recruited Citizens" was issued by the Ministry of National Defense on September 1 2003, including

Height: male 160cm, female 158cm.

Weight: Male: not more than 30% of the standard weight and not less than 15% of the standard weight.

Female: Not more than 20% of the standard weight and not less than 25% of the standard weight.

Vision standard: the naked eye vision of the right eye of college students is not less than 4.6, and the naked eye vision of the left eye is not less than 4.5. After more than half a year of excimer surgery, the visual acuity of both eyes reached above 4.8 without complications, and the fundus examination was normal and qualified.

Extended data:

What can't pass military inspection:

1, overweight

"Every year, many young people are overweight, even reaching 15%~20%. Some young people who came for physical examination, with double chins, sat there panting. Such a young person can't bear big sports training in the army. " Zhu Yanjun, director of general surgery in the Fourth Hospital, said.

2. tattoos

All the recruits who found "dots, characters and stripes" during physical examination were unqualified, and those who still had obvious tattoo marks after operation that affected their military appearance were also judged unqualified.

3, lower limbs and flat feet

The unequal length of both lower limbs exceeds two centimeters, or the gait is abnormal and unqualified, the fingers (toes) that affect the function are incomplete and deformed, the flat feet with completely disappeared plantar arch, corns, calluses and severely cracked feet that affect long-distance walking are unqualified. Every year, young people can't pass the physical examination because of flat feet, serious corns and severe chapping.
