Jiangsu University is located in Zhenjiang, a national historical and cultural city. It is a comprehensive research-oriented national key university with engineering characteristics founded by Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, China Municipal People's Government and Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. The history of running a school can be traced back to Sanjiang Normal School, which was founded in 1902. Nanjing University, Nanjing Institute of Technology and other schools continued their string songs. In August of 20001year, it merged with Zhenjiang Medical College and Zhenjiang Normal College to form Jiangsu University. As the earliest university in China to offer agricultural machinery specialty and systematically carry out agricultural machinery education, it has trained the first batch of undergraduate, master and doctor degrees in agricultural machinery in China.
