Wenzhou Higher Education Park, including Wenzhou University, Wenzhou Vocational and Technical College and Wenzhou Medical University, is one of the first six higher education parks in Zhejiang.

The planned area is 8 square kilometers, and the current construction land is 4.3 square kilometers. Construction of Wenzhou Medical College, Wenzhou University (formed by the merger of Wenzhou Normal University and Wenzhou University), Wenzhou Vocational and Technical College and other four teaching areas, three student apartments, 1 public building central area and ancillary supporting areas (faculty residences and affiliated schools), as well as Renji College, Oujiang College, City College and Huazhong University of Science and Technology Advanced Manufacturing Technology Research Institute.

The built building area is 6.5438+0.6 million square meters, and 240,000 square meters are under construction (including 6.5438+0.8 million square meters of staff housing). It is planned to build Oujiang College Campus, Wenzhou Medical College Biological Incubation Building, Renji College and other projects; The built road and bridge covers an area of 2 1.56 million square meters, and the second phase of Landscape Avenue is under construction. Qiushi Road, the south section of Central East Road, Gongyuan East Road and Gongyuan North Road are planned to be built. The area of public garden green space is 350,000 square meters. The total investment is about 5 billion yuan. The total number of full-time college students in the higher education park is 55,725, including 3,073 graduate students and 5 19 international students.
