Gao Xi, associate professor of history department of Fudan University, member of China Medical History Society and vice chairman of Shanghai Medical History Society. Long-term teaching of medical history, life science history and medical introduction. He is responsible for the research on the history of medical cultural exchange between China and foreign countries, the establishment of western medical system in China and medical missionary work. He has written History of Medical Cultural Exchange between China and foreign countries, co-edited History of Medicine and Introduction to Medicine, and published more than ten papers in academic journals at home and abroad, such as Medicine and Philosophy, History of Chinese Medicine, Communication on Dialectics of Nature, and Historical Materials of China Science and Technology.

At present, one of Mr. Gao's research directions is the influence and communication between the anatomical concept of western medicine and the overall concept of Chinese medicine, and how to appear the anatomical concept in China's ideology and culture.

Miss Gao is rigorous in her studies and cares about her students. In class, Mr. Gao stimulates students' interest in this course by leading them to visit medical museums and watch medical movies. Teachers always answer students' questions carefully. In addition, in order to communicate with students better, the teacher specially selected class representatives for this class. Outside the classroom, teachers also attach great importance to communication with students. Teachers will organize students with similar research interests to promote exchanges between students. Personally, I appreciate the teacher's knowledge and personality, so I hope to complete the research of this project under the guidance of the teacher.
