1, Yunnan University
Yunnan University was founded in 1922 as a private Donglu University, 1934 was renamed as provincial Yunnan University, and 1938 was renamed as national Yunnan University. 65438-0978 Yunnan University was identified as one of the 88 key universities in China by the State Council. 1996 became the first batch of key construction universities in the national "2 1 1 project"; In 2004, it became a key university built by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Yunnan Province.
20 12 became the national implementing agency of "Basic Capacity Building Project of Central and Western Universities" and "Comprehensive Strength Improvement Project of Central and Western Universities"; In 20 17, it became one of the first 42 "first-class universities" in China. In 20 18, it was among the best in the middle and western regions 14 "Ministry-based co-construction" universities; In 2022, it will continue to be selected into a new round of national "double first-class" construction universities.
2. Kunming University of Science and Technology
Kunming University of Science and Technology was founded on September 4th. 1954 was named Kunming University of Science and Technology, 1995 was renamed Kunming University of Science and Technology, and 1999 merged with Yunnan University of Technology to form a new Kunming University of Science and Technology.
The school has four campuses: Chenggong, Lianhua, Xinying and Songming, covering an area of 39 15 mu (excluding Songming campus). The main campus is Chenggong Campus, located in Chenggong University Town, Kunming.
3. Yunnan Normal University
Yunnan Normal University is a provincial key normal university with a long history and fine tradition. It is one of the 100 key universities built by the Ministry of Education and the Yunnan Provincial People's Government and one of the national basic capacity improvement projects in the central and western regions.
1946, the three schools that formed the general meeting were demobilized and returned to the north. The whole system of teachers' colleges stayed in Kunming to run schools independently, and was named National Kunming Teachers' College. 1950 was renamed Kunming Normal University, and 1984 was renamed Yunnan Normal University. After more than 80 years of development, the school has trained more than 300,000 talents at all levels for the country and is known as the "cradle of people's teachers on the red soil plateau".
