The school signed an employment and entrepreneurship practice base agreement with 164, established an education practice base with China Private Education Museum, signed an off-campus practice base agreement with Jin Ming Golden Apple Kindergarten, Ying Ji Primary School and Kaifeng Art Museum in Kaifeng, signed an employment practice base agreement with Muyuan Group and Xueersi Education Technology Co., Ltd., and signed an off-campus practice base agreement with six kindergartens in Kaifeng, including Century Star, to start school in Qixian County.

Henan Kaifeng Science and Technology Media College is located in Kaifeng City, Henan Province, referred to as "Kechuan". It is a private college at the undergraduate level organized by Henan Daily Newspaper Group Co., Ltd. and approved by the Ministry of Education.

The school was founded in 2003, formerly known as Minsheng College of Henan University. In September 2009, Henan University cooperated with Henan Daily Newspaper Group to establish the school. In February, 20021year, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the school was transformed into a full-time undergraduate college, renamed Kaifeng Science and Technology Media College of Henan Province, and the establishment of Minsheng College of Henan University was abolished.
