brief introduction

1999 the State Council approved the "Action Plan for Revitalizing Education Facing the 2 1 Century" formulated by the Ministry of Education, which pointed out that the professional degree postgraduate education should be actively and steadily developed, the professional degree system should be further improved, and a large number of high-level applied talents should be trained. According to the Interim Measures for Examination and Approval of Professional Degree Setting by the State Council Academic Degrees Committee and the Program for Setting Professional Degree of Master of Management, which was deliberated and adopted at the17th meeting in the State Council, it marks the official start of MPA education in China. On February 9th, 2000/KLOC-0, the State Council Academic Degrees Committee, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Personnel jointly issued a document, and the National MPA Professional Degree Education Steering Committee was established. On February 22nd, the inaugural meeting was held. The secretariat of its permanent executive body is located in Renmin University of China, with Yin Weimin, Vice Minister of Personnel, as the chairman of the MPA Steering Committee, and President Ji Baocheng as the first member of the Steering Committee.

MPA cultural status quo

Since the first MPA enrollment in June, 20001year, more than 7,000 people have signed up for MPA * * of 2006 54 38+0, and the enrollment of MPA of 2003 is about to be completed. It is estimated that nearly 4000 students will be enrolled. In June, 2004, 47 MPA training institutions in China met here. Some MPA dissertations of the first batch of MPA pilot universities in China passed the defense, and China's own MPA is about to enter the society.

In this sense, MPA education has become a reality in China.
