1. What is a special school?
Japan's specialized schools mainly aim at vocational education, but compared with universities, they mainly cultivate students' theoretical knowledge. In terms of curriculum, junior colleges pay more attention to cultivating practical employment ability and life ability, that is, we say, learning a craft. So if you plan to work in Japan in the future, you can consider a special school.
The educational system of specialized schools is 1~4 years, but most of them are 2 years. After 2~3 years of graduation, you can get the title of "specialist" awarded by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, and after 4 years of graduation, you can get the title of "highly specialist".
Many technical industries in Japan are very optimistic about "specialists". In Japanese law, "junior college" and "short-term bachelor" have the same academic status, and "bachelor" and "advanced junior college" have the same academic status.
In addition, compared with China, Japanese "junior college" education is equivalent to China's higher vocational college education, and "highly junior college" education is equivalent to undergraduate education.
However, it should be noted that specialists cannot apply for the qualification certification of the Ministry of Education of China. However, you can choose to continue your studies after graduation from a junior college. Graduates from two-year and three-year colleges can enter undergraduate colleges and pursue internationally recognized undergraduate degrees. Four-year colleges can go directly to universities for postgraduate study, and the postgraduate education is also recognized by Japanese and China governments.
Second, the application conditions of Japanese specialized schools
1. You need to complete 12 years of school education outside Japan (including secondary education, which is a necessary condition).
Those who have completed 12 secondary education courses in educational facilities under the Japanese foreign school education system and are over 18 years old.
2. Those who have graduated from high school with only 10 or1year education must complete the "preparatory education course" in designated educational institutions and be over 18 years old.
As for applying for university entrance, etc. It is recognized that it has the ability to graduate from high school or above.
1) has international bachelor's degree qualification and German Abitur qualification, and is over 18 years old.
2) Those who have completed 12 courses in foreign schools recognized by international assessment agencies (WASC, ACSI, ECIS) and are over 18 years old.
4. To apply for a junior college, according to the personal qualification examination, you must have a high school graduate with the same education or above, and be at least 18 years old.
5. Japanese proficiency requirements:
1) Japanese educators who have completed Japanese education in Japanese educational institutions for more than 6 months announced by the Minister of Justice.
2) Those who have scored N/KLOC-0 and/or N2 in the Japanese proficiency test jointly organized by Japan International Education Support Association and International Exchange Fund.
3) Educators who have taught in primary schools, junior high schools or senior high schools in Japan for more than 1 year.
4) Japanese study abroad test [Japanese (total score of reading, listening and reading)] is above 200 points.
5) Get more than 400 points in JLRT Listening and Reading Comprehension Test of BJT Business Japanese Proficiency Test (implemented by Japan External Trade Organization until 2008).
Third, the application advantages of Japanese specialized schools
1. Short study period and high employment rate.
The study time in a special school is only two to three years, but the employment rate after graduation is very high. According to statistics, the employment rate of specialized schools in Japan is as high as 98%. Many Japanese students who want to work in Japan after graduation and those who want to get a long-term work visa in Japan usually focus on their later work, so finding a job has become the first step in their life planning.
2. Pay more attention to the cultivation of ability than universities.
As we all know, universities mainly cultivate students' theoretical knowledge, but after graduation, they find that they have no practical ability to work. The junior college pays more attention to the cultivation of students' ability in the curriculum, and teachers will also invite on-the-job personnel in some professional fields to give classes to students and arrange students' internships.
It covers a wide range of specialties.
As long as there are corresponding professional courses in all fields of work in Japan, I will briefly tell you some majors, such as medical treatment, science, clinical examination, acupuncture, prosthetic installation, psychology, nursing, drug sales, dental technicians, social welfare, music therapy, conservation, kindergarten, beauty, cooking, tobacco control, nutrition, sightseeing, translation, airport service and so on. Boots, watch design, kimono tailoring, acoustics, DJ, music, musical instrument debugging, as well as musical instruments, movies, animation production, props production, TV programs, stage lighting, scripts, illustrations, photography, actors, games, cartoons, seiyuu, crafts, calligraphy, architecture, furniture design, accounting, secretaries, automobiles, environment, aquatic products and so on. You can choose your own major to study, but many majors are not available in universities.
You can continue your studies after graduation.
If some students find it difficult to return to China for employment only with diplomas equivalent to junior colleges, specialized schools have corresponding specialized vocational colleges. After graduating from a specialized school, they can choose a specialized vocational college for further study. After two years of study, they will get a diploma equivalent to a graduate student in China. And it is a world-recognized academic qualification.
