What school is China University of Political Science and Law?
China University of Political Science and Law is a comprehensive research-oriented national key university with law as its main feature and coordinated development of politics and law. Founded in 1952 and formerly known as Beijing University of Political Science and Law, it is the first law school in China to train high-level legal talents, supplemented by political science, management and other disciplines.

The school is located in Haidian District, the capital of China, covering an area of nearly 600,000 square meters. There are 35 first-level disciplines authorized by doctors and 50 first-level disciplines authorized by masters. China University of Political Science and Law is located in Beijing, directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), and jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the Beijing Municipal People's Government.

China University of Political Science and Law, formerly known as Beijing University of Political Science and Law, was formed by the merger of law, political science and sociology from Peking University, Tsinghua University, yenching university and Fu Jen Catholic University on 1952. 1954, the school moved to Xueyuan Road; 1960 became a national key university determined by the state.
