Brief Introduction of China Institute of Thought and Culture of Northwest University
Northwest University and Buguo Institute of Thought and Culture are the only doctoral programs and national key disciplines in China's ideological history, which were established in 1984. 1984, Gong was awarded the doctor's degree and was awarded the national key discipline by the State Education Commission 65438-0988. J995 was approved to establish a postdoctoral research mobile station. There are official researchers 10 in the institute, including 4 professors, 2 associate professors and 4 lecturers (3 doctors). The current director is Professor Zhang Qizhi, a famous historian and doctoral supervisor. China Institute of Ideological and Cultural Studies of Northwest University is an institution that combines teaching with scientific research, and its teaching targets are mainly doctoral students and master students. The research directions of Erqi Opera include the history of China's thoughts, the history of Neo-Confucianism in Song and Ming Dynasties, the modern academic culture in China and the religious culture in China. Professor Zhang Qizhi, the academic leader of this discipline, was a student and assistant of Mr. Hou Wailu, a famous Marxist historian in China, and began to study the history of China thought with Mr. Hou Wailu in the 1950s. Under his leadership, the subject has achieved a series of important research results. Since the Sixth Five-Year Plan, 24 scientific research projects have been completed in discipline sites, including 8 national projects, 6 provincial projects, 2 Confucius Foundation projects, 8 self-selected projects, and 10 projects won prizes.
