Nursing is a comprehensive applied subject with natural science, social science and humanities. Nightingale founded the first nursing school-Nightingale Nurse Training School from 1860.
Nursing has experienced four processes: simple and clean nursing, disease-centered nursing, patient-centered ending nursing and human health-centered nursing.
After continuous practice, education and research, nursing has been actively enriched and improved, and gradually formed its own unique theoretical and practical system, becoming an independent discipline.
The formation and development of nursing specialty is closely related to the progress of human culture and science, and is promoted by social changes, factors affecting the development of nursing specialty, nurses' own factors and the improvement of women's own liberation status.
