The Tao is the best and the people cannot forget it.

He believes that there are many inscriptions in Shang and Zhou Dynasties, but only one can use moral proverbs as an inscription. Unfortunately, the bronzes mentioned in "Da Xue" have long been lost, so it is impossible to use physical research. Guo Moruo thought about it, and finally found that the author of "University" saw something that might be broken, and a small part of it was missing, so the text was broken. If the top is added, this proverb may become "Father's Day is Xin, Father's Day is Xin, and Brother's Day is Xin", which is logical. Another expert, Xu Zongyuan, thinks that these three sentences have been misspelled by scholars in previous dynasties, and should be "test Japan, make new progress, and make new brothers." In a word, whether Guo said or Xu said, this old saying is a inheritance, not a moral maxim.

It is precisely because of strict law enforcement that Emperor Yao is lenient with others, and the world is at peace. Heavy or light punishment is not the way to govern the country.
All examiners don't know the origin of the allusion of Yao Di and Hao Tao. After the exam, Ouyang Xiu, the examiner, specifically asked him about it, and Su returned a note from the biography of the reflection of Kong Rong. Ouyang Xiu went to the reflection, but he couldn't find it, so he had to ask again. When Su Shi saw that Ouyang Xiu still didn't understand, he further pointed out: "I used the allusions of Emperor Yao and Hao Tao, which is the same reason. I take it for granted that they should do that. "
