A Brief Introduction to the Author of "The Son of Fog"
Brandon Sanderson

Brandon Sanderson

Born in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA 1975. 15 years old, he walked into the bookstore and saw the best-selling classic "The Wheel of Time 1: Eye of the World" by fantasy master Robert Jordan. From then on, he plunged into the world of fantasy story writing and turned his attention to the master. Many years later, Sanderson met Moshe Feder, editor of Thor Publishing House, and gave him the manuscript of "City of Gods: Elantra". Fred took the manuscript home and kept it for half a year. When he finally finished reading the manuscript and was surprised, he quickly contacted the young rookie. Unexpectedly, Sanderson has moved, and Feder had a hard time finding his whereabouts. He immediately made an offer to sign "City of the Gods".

In 2005, the first novel "City of Gods: Yilan Cui" finally arrived in Fu Zi, and immediately won the Fantasy Epic Award in Romantic Times, and was selected as the highest newcomer award in American science in 2006 and 2007. Bonno, an American bookstore chain, always lists his books as the first choice. Later, he successively wrote the trilogy "The Son of the Mist" (the full series of Amazon in the United States was warmly praised by 500 readers, with an average of 4.5 stars), the Alcatraz series, the Destroyer of War and other books. Publishers Weekly, Track Magazine, Journal of American Library Association and Cox Review all spoke highly of his works. As a super newcomer, he surprised the literary world and readers, made Scholastic, the American publishing house of Harry Potter, buy the copyright of his Alcatraz series at a high price, and made Tor, a big publishing house, sign the contracts of his four books in one breath.

From June 5438 to October 2009 10, the successor of Wheel of Time published Memories of Light 1: Storm Surging, and even beat dan brown's new book "The Lost Symbol" and parachuted to the top of the new york Times list!

20 10 February, the trilogy "The Son of Fog" was published in Taiwan Province. With its gorgeous, colorful and fast-paced content, it broke the genre restriction that ordinary readers set a complicated and high reading threshold for fantasy novel, set off a wave of popularization in fantasy novel, and created a full series of100000 copies!

He currently teaches at Brigham Young University and lives in Orly, Utah. He is actively writing the last work of the classic fantasy novel "The Wheel of Time" series, and simultaneously writing the epic novel "The Archives of the Storm" which has been planned for ten years (the Chinese version is scheduled to be listed on 20 12).
