Yunnan Aviation School was established in 1922. In order to meet the needs of developing aviation, Governor Yungui established Yunnan Aviation School. In the winter of the same year, enrollment began in Kunming and Guiyang. It is the earliest aviation school in China and has trained the first batch of air force pilots in China.
