Quanzhou Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1986 as a motorcycle training school in Fujian Province, with vocational training as the starting point and "enterprise as the school, front factory as the back school, and work-study combination" as the distinctive feature. Fujian motorcycle technical secondary school was established in 1997.
In 2002, it was upgraded to Quanzhou Zhongying Vocational College, and higher vocational enrollment began in the same year; In 2007, it was renamed Quanzhou Polytechnic Vocational College, upgraded to undergraduate course on 20 18, and renamed Quanzhou Vocational and Technical College on 20 19. It is the first batch of undergraduate vocational education pilot colleges in China and the only one in Fujian Province.
Professional construction and teaching staff;
By September, 2022, the school has set up 18 undergraduate major and 13 specialist major around eight professional groups, including petrochemical industry, intelligent manufacturing, new generation information technology, automobile, green building, business, cultural tourism, sports and art design.
There are 459 full-time teachers and part-time teachers 155, of which 34.53% are teachers with associate senior or above, 50.98% are masters and doctors, and 54.62% are professional teachers.
