The Military Culture College of the National Defence University of PLA, formerly known as China People's Liberation Army Art College (Military Art), is a high-end professional college for training talents in the military culture field of the whole army and the armed police force.

It is mainly responsible for the training of professionals in the field of military culture and the research of military culture theory. The college has five teaching and research sections, including the Basic Department, the Military Culture Work Department, the Military Culture Communication Department, the Military Literature and Art Creation Department and the Experimental Art Theatre.

At the first Party Congress of the National Defense University of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, the educational policy, school motto and school song of China People's Anti-Japanese Military and Political University were officially designated as the school motto and school song of the National Defense University.

Honors of PLA Art College:

The school has created and performed a large number of outstanding literary and artistic works, among which dozens of literary works and hundreds of works of drama, music, dance and art have won military, national and even international awards. Teachers and students have participated in various competitions at home and abroad for many times and won more than 800 prizes.

The music department won the first place in the professional group in the National TV Singers' Grand Prix, the drama department won the championship six times in the national and military drama sketch competitions, and the dance department won the most awards in the sixth national youth "Peach and Plum Cup" dance competition.
