Jiaxing University

Jiaxing College, located in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, China, was founded in March 2000 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. Jiaxing College was formed by the merger of the former Zhejiang University of Economics and Jiaxing College, and implemented the management system of "provinces and cities co-managing, with provinces as the main body".

The original Zhejiang University of Economics 19 14 was founded in Yinxian, Ningbo, and Jiande, Hangzhou, under the Ministry of Heavy Industry, Ministry of Metallurgy and China Nonferrous Metals Industry Corporation.

On June 20, 2023, the Ministry of Education issued the Announcement on Approving the Establishment of Undergraduate Colleges and Universities, in which it was mentioned that according to the relevant provisions of the Higher Education Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the Provisional Regulations on the Establishment of Ordinary Colleges and Universities, and the investigation and evaluation results of the Eighth National College Establishment Evaluation Committee, after deliberation by the party group meeting of the Ministry of Education, it was proposed to agree to establish Anhui.

Among them, it is planned to rename Zhejiang University of Science and Technology as Zhejiang University of Science and Technology and Jiaxing College as Li Ruliang Jiaxing College.

Zhejiang Institute of Science and Technology was founded by Zhejiang University and Hangzhou in 1980. After more than 40 years of construction, the school has developed into a first-class application-oriented provincial undergraduate university with international education and distinctive regional characteristics.

The school has two campuses: Xiaoheshan Campus is located in Xihu District, Hangzhou, adjacent to Xixi Wetland, covering an area of 1.900 mu, with a construction area of about 470,000 square meters; Anji Campus is located in Anji, Huzhou, with a land area of 1 0,000 hectares and a building area of about10.7 million square meters.

The school has 17 secondary colleges and 1 teaching department; There are 57 undergraduate majors, 6 academic master's degree authorized first-class disciplines and 8 master's degree authorized points; There are nearly 1.9 million full-time undergraduates and postgraduates, and there are nearly 1.2 million international students in China.

Jiaxing College is an ordinary undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education in March 2000, which was formed by the merger of the former Zhejiang University of Economics and Jiaxing College. The school has 17 teaching institutions and 58 undergraduate majors.
