Tsinghua, a famous institution of higher learning in China, is located in the scenic garden area in the northwest suburb of Beijing. It was a private garden in the Ming Dynasty and became a part of Yuanmingyuan in the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, named Xichun Garden. Daoguang was divided into Xichun Garden and Jinchun Garden, and Xianfeng was renamed Tsinghua Campus.
Tsinghua was founded in 19 1 1, formerly known as Tsinghua School. As part of the "return" of the United States, boxer indemnity established the Preparatory School for Studying in the United States, and 19 12 was renamed Tsinghua School. In order to try to cultivate talents locally, 1925 established the undergraduate department. 1928 changed its name to "National Tsinghua University".
