Oriental University Town is located in Langfang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Hebei Province, along the golden section of Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan expressway. It is 30 kilometers away from the capital Beijing in the west and 60 kilometers away from Tianjin and Bohai Sea in the east. It is the development center of the Bohai Economic Zone.
1999 10 The foundation stone of Oriental University Town invested and built by Beijing Foreign Enterprise Group was officially laid. After a lapse of one year, 570,000 square meters of buildings were built on 2,300 mu of land, and nearly 10,000 students from seven famous universities in China and Beijing No.25 Middle School took the lead in settling in, thus opening the era of higher education in China as a university town.
Oriental University Town puts forward the positioning of "building the University Town into a vocational education base with international standards", creating an "education city", "cultural city" and "low-carbon city" and realizing the development mode of "three cities creating together and ecological development". At present, there are more than 50,000 students of all kinds, and their major is art, medical care, tourism and aviation, information technology and software. Aisingjiluo Qi Xian: the 17th female in Shan County, persecuted during the Cultural Revolution, later served as vice chairman of Langfang Oriental University Town, honorary chairman of Beijing Oriental Research Institute, and librarian of Beijing Literature and History Research Institute. In May, 1996, Ai Xin Japanese Training School located in Langfang Development Zone, Hebei Province was officially listed. Confirmed by relevant departments, this school was the most complete private Japanese specialized school in China at that time. At the end of 1990s, it was on the basis of this school that Langfang Oriental University City was established.
