1994 In May, after the establishment of New Shanghai University, the Archives Department of College of Literature of Shanghai University was established. In 2008, the Department of Library and Information Archives was established by integrating the resources of archival science, information science and library science. Information resource management is the key subject of Shanghai University, and archival science is the highland of undergraduate education in Shanghai.
