According to China people and the website of the Ministry of Education, the Letter of the Ministry of Education on Agreeing to Rename Xinyang Normal University issued on June 7, 2023 stated that the Ministry of Education agreed to rename Xinyang Normal University with the school logo code of 4141kloc-0/0477, and cancelled the establishment of Xinyang Normal University.
