Is it necessary to pay tuition for a master's or doctor's degree now? Is every school the same?
Required (except for graduate students of Chinese Academy of Sciences and those who leave without paying tuition fees)

Tuition standard: the master's tuition standard is 8000 yuan/year (the actual fees for MBA, MPA, master of finance and other majors are subject to the training fees approved by the State Price Bureau).

From 20 14, the tuition system for graduate education will be fully implemented, and the system of national grants and academic scholarships for graduate students will be established. From the fall semester of 20 14, the average annual income of doctoral students is not less than 10000 yuan, and that of master students is not less than 8000 yuan.

Postgraduate tuition scholarship policy

Starting with 1 20 14, the enrollment of master students should be paid at their own expense first, and the public expenses should be cancelled. We will not implement the previous method of charging all tuition fees at the beginning of school and returning them with scholarships after enrollment in September.

2. The new postgraduate fee policy is:

Every full-time graduate student can get a state grant of 6000 yuan every year, and every full-time graduate student has it.

The state establishes national scholarships for graduate students, and various graduate enrollment schools set up different individual scholarships, which are distributed according to a certain proportion.

Starting from the fall semester of 20 14, all new graduate students who are included in the national enrollment plan will be charged tuition fees, and the publicly-funded graduate program will be cancelled. From the fall semester of 20 14, all freshmen who have been included in the national postgraduate enrollment plan will be charged for postgraduate study, but the basic principle is "new rules for freshmen, old system for students", that is, the charging system implemented in the fall semester of 20 14 will not affect the postgraduates who entered before the fall semester of 20 14, but the previous charging policy will still be implemented according to the original system.
