According to official website's query of Pocket College Entrance Examination, in 2023, Tongji University ranked 17 in soft science and 19 in alumni association. Tongji University has a long history and an outstanding reputation. It is one of the earliest national universities in China and a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and jointly established with Shanghai. The school building covers an area of about 2.56 square kilometers, with a total construction area of 1.87 million square meters, and the library has a total collection of more than 4.57 million books.
