Create history:
The school was founded in 1953 by the Academy of Military Engineering of China People's Liberation Army (hereinafter referred to as "Harbin Institute of Technology"), and was renamed Nanjing University of Science and Technology in 1993 after experiencing the development stages of Artillery Engineering College, East China Institute of Engineering and East China University of Science and Technology.
