Xiangsihu College of Guangxi University for Nationalities, referred to as Xiangsihu College for Nationalities, is an independent college confirmed by the Ministry of Education and a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning that implements undergraduate education.
The school was founded in April 2002, formerly known as Xiangsihu College of Guangxi University for Nationalities. In February 2004, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it became a full-time undergraduate college (independent college). In March 2006, the Ministry of Education agreed that Xiangsihu College of Guangxi University for Nationalities should be renamed Xiangsihu College of Guangxi University for Nationalities.
According to the arrangement of the Ministry of Education for the transfer of independent colleges, Xiangsihu College of Guangxi University for Nationalities plans to be transferred and renamed Nanning Digital Vocational and Technical College (subject to the approval of the Ministry of Education).

By February 2020, there will be 76 multimedia classrooms, 5 multimedia digital language laboratories 15, 4 computer laboratories, 54 professional laboratories, 28 off-campus practice and training bases 128, 96.35 million yuan of teaching instruments and equipment, 472 teaching computers/kloc-0, and the school gymnasium covers an area of 30,000 square meters. Qipo Forest Farm Campus is located in the south of Yingpan Station, Youyi Road, Jiangnan District, Nanning, with a construction land of 2,000 mu.
