The Australian National University (ANU), founded in 1946, is a research-oriented national university located in Canberra, Australia. It is also one of the alliance schools of International Research University Alliance (IARU), Australia's Eight Famous Universities (Go8), University Astronomy Research Association (AURA) and Pacific Rim University Alliance (APRU). Macquarie University, or Macquarie University, is located in Ryder, a northwest suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, only five minutes' drive from the nearest town, Epping. The campus is 0/8km away from the city center and covers an area of 135 hectares. Although the school has a history of less than 50 years, it enjoys a high academic reputation in Southeast Asia, especially in Singapore and Hong Kong, because of its enterprising spirit.
