Tianya Tropical Ocean Zoo is located on the west side of Tianya Haijiao Tourist Area, covering an area of more than 50 mu. There are 8 ornamental and entertainment projects in the park, including tropical marine aquarium, seabird garden, crocodile museum and Gui Ling museum. The Tropical Ocean Aquarium displays more than 400 kinds of tropical marine life, such as leopard shark, whitetip shark, swallowfish and live coral. The Seabird Pavilion, Gui Ling Pavilion and Crocodile Pavilion respectively displayed several rare birds, dozens of parrots, many rare turtles and bay crocodiles imported from Thailand. Dolphins, sea lions, crocodiles and seabirds perform in the park every day.

Nansan

Nanshan, called "Aoshan" in ancient times, is located at the southern tip of Hainan Island in China. It is about 500 meters high and looks like a huge turtle. 1200 years ago, Master Jian Zhen, a famous monk in the Tang Dynasty in China, drifted to Nanshan after his fifth trip to Japan in distress, and lived in Nanshan for one and a half years, where he built a Buddhist temple to preach Buddhism. Subsequently, the sixth eastward crossing was finally successful.

Sanya South Umbrella is the "Priority Project of China Tourism Development" determined by the National Tourism Administration. Its completion fills the blank of Hainan's historical and cultural tourism, further highlights the advantages of Hainan's eco-tourism and adds luster to China's tourism industry.

Wan Yunlong
