Ma Youde Ma Youde is an erhu player and educator. 1930 1 was born in Qihe county, Shandong province. I liked music when I was young. I learned erhu from Professor Chen Chaoru in middle school. 1949 Join Shandong People's Art Troupe; 65438-0950 entered the Music Department of the Art Department of East China University to study music and began to teach erhu. 195 1 entered the Music Department of Shandong University, and studied cello under the German cellist Professor Manseck. 65438-0952 teaches erhu in the Music Department of East China University of Arts. 1958, taught in the Music Department of Nanjing Art Institute, studied cello under the cellist Professor Chen, and taught erhu in Shanghai Conservatory of Music.

In erhu teaching, on the one hand, we learn the techniques and charm of folk erhu performance, on the other hand, we learn the "middle position theory" of the Soviet violinist Michanski, and apply the combination of Chinese and Western in erhu teaching.

During his more than 50-year erhu teaching career, he has trained a large number of famous erhu players in China, such as,,, Ou Jingxing, Bian Memorial, Wang Shaolin, Rui,, Permit, Chen Jun, Yu Huisheng, Yang Yihe, Qian Hezhi, and young people Xing Liyuan and Gu Huaiyan. 1993 was praised by CCTV as the "Ma Jiajun" of erhu.

Ma Youde's musical works include: Erhu Concerto Meng Jiangnv (cooperating with others); Erhu solo "Happy Harvest" and "Celebration" (composition); Folk music ensemble "Snatching Grain Suite" and "Dragon Boat" (arrangement). There are also many articles about erhu teaching in newspapers and magazines. Jiangsu Audio-Visual Publishing House published "Master of Erhu Teaching VCD" and "Ma Youde Album", which had great influence.

Ma Youde has been rated as an excellent teacher of Nanjing Art Institute for many times, and won the first prize of teaching in the Institute. 199 1 won the second prize of excellent teaching quality in colleges and universities in Jiangsu province, and 1993 was awarded the certificate of "outstanding contribution" by the State Council, enjoying government subsidies. 1995 was awarded as the outstanding academic leader of universities in Jiangsu province.

Ma Youde is a member of China Musicians Association, honorary director of China National Orchestral Society, consultant of Erhu Society of China Musicians Association, consultant of Huqin Professional Committee of China National Orchestral Society, member of National Music Committee of Jiangsu Music Association, senior examiner of national social art level examination, and librarian of Jiangsu Literature and History Museum.
