China University of Science and Technology, referred to as China University of Science and Technology, is located in Hefei, Anhui Province. It is a comprehensive national key university with cutting-edge science and high technology, as well as medicine, characteristic management and humanities under the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It was jointly established by China Academy of Sciences, Ministry of Education and Anhui Province.

There are 50 academicians of China Academy of Sciences and China Academy of Engineering (including double-hired academicians), 7 academicians of the Academy of Sciences of developing countries/KLOC-0, 6 winners of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars/KLOC-0, 7 national teaching masters, 44 winners of "Hundred Talents Program" of China Academy of Sciences/KLOC-0, and 57 winners of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. At the same time, a group of well-known scholars at home and abroad were hired as honorary professors.
