Brief introduction of PLA National Defence University;

The English name (National Defense University of the Chinese People's Liberation Army) is the highest military academy in China directly under the Central Military Commission. It is a key construction institution of the "2 1 10 Project" of the whole army and a comprehensive joint command university of senior vocational education of the Chinese Army.

2065438+July 2007, according to the order of the Central Military Commission, a new National Defense University was established on the basis of some professional training tasks and related institutions of the former National Defense University, Nanjing Institute of Politics, Xi 'an Institute of Politics, PLA Art College, PLA Logistics College, Shijiazhuang Army Command College, Armed Police Political College and Equipment College.

The Beijing headquarters and graduate school of National Defense University cover a total area of 2,482.5 mu. The school has five disciplines: philosophy, law, economics, military science and education. At present, there are more than 280 professors, researchers, associate professors and associate researchers, including more than 50 doctoral and master tutor/kloc-0.

There are eight colleges under the National Defense University, including 13 for first-class disciplines, 3 for two disciplines, 18 for first-class disciplines and 9 for two disciplines.

Academic exchange:

According to China Social Science Network, since 2002, National Defense University has held 16 international security seminars continuously to strengthen academic research exchanges with the international military community.

After the reorganization of the National Defense University, around the requirements of building a world-class comprehensive joint command university, the international security seminar was upgraded to an international defense forum, aiming at better discussing major international or regional security issues and strengthening military exchanges and cooperation with countries around the world.
