Fujian Medical University has six directly affiliated hospitals and fourteen non-directly affiliated hospitals (including clinical medical colleges).

Affiliated hospitals directly under the Central Government are Union Medical College Hospital, First Affiliated Hospital, Second Affiliated Hospital, Third Affiliated Hospital (under construction), Stomatological Hospital and Pingtan Union Medical College Hospital (under construction).

Fujian Medical University, founded in 1937 and formerly known as Fujian Provincial Medical College, is one of the earliest medical colleges in China. The school is a "double-first-class" construction university in Fujian Province, which focuses on medicine, develops in a coordinated way with multiple disciplines and has a complete talent training system.

The school has two campuses, Shang Jie and Taijiang, with a planned area of about 1500 mu. There are 265,438+0 colleges (departments) and 27 undergraduate majors, including 4 national specialties. At present, there are more than 400 faculty members11(including affiliated hospitals) and more than 6000 full-time students1.
