(A) students' own reasons
1. The learning goal is unclear and the self-control is poor.
University education is different from junior high school. It advocates autonomous learning, emphasizes students' initiative and requires students to have strong self-control. Some students' learning objectives are unclear, their mentality is impetuous, their mood is lazy and they are not enterprising. They go to college just to "mix diplomas".
2. Not interested in your major.
In the process of choosing a major in the college entrance examination, some students are in their parents' home. The teacher advised him to choose a major. And he doesn't know this major or doesn't like it? Just to get a job after graduation, I found that I was not interested in this major after school, so I skipped classes.
3. Take advantage of time-walking to skip classes and extracurricular knowledge.
Some studious students have mastered classroom knowledge before class, and attending classes is review for them. They think that instead of spending time on what they already know, they should use this time to expand their knowledge in the library. Some students think that the way teachers teach is too boring, so it is better to go to the library or study room to read by yourself.
4. New truancy: Everything depends on mood.
The reason why they skip class is simple. They don't need a reason. Everything depends on their mood. Go to class when you are in a good mood, and don't go to class when you are in a bad mood. If you want to play games, you don't care about class. If you want to watch movies, you don't care about class. If you want to sleep, you don't care about class.
(B) Teachers' reasons
1. Some teachers give poor lectures.
Teachers' boring teaching methods and boring teaching contents are one of the problems that students generally reflect. Many teachers only pay attention to stiffly imparting knowledge points to students, without considering students' feelings when accepting knowledge points and the lack of communication between teachers and students.
2. Improper examination methods
At present, the examination methods of most courses in universities are still closed, and teachers will provide students with the required knowledge points before the examination. Students can easily pass the exam as long as they "surprise" for a day or two, which does not reflect the difference between attending classes and not attending classes, resulting in a decline in students' enthusiasm for learning.
(C) Educational environment reasons
1. The education system is strict and wide.
Do universities in China adopt a strict approach? . Students have no pressure in college and their learning competitiveness is insufficient. Many students think it doesn't matter if they don't attend class, but they are admitted, so they dare to do what they like in cut class.
2. Insufficient inspection.
It is far from enough to supervise students' attendance by class cadres or teachers' occasional telephone checks. Especially in some large classes, because there are as many students as 100, it is impossible for teachers to spot-check every class, so students will have the opportunity to skip classes.
In view of the phenomenon of college students skipping classes, teachers should strengthen education in the following aspects:
(A) to strengthen students' ideological education
Students should be given professional ideological education. Let students know the direction, characteristics and prospects of this major through various forms, such as freshmen's enrollment, professional introduction, and exchanges between old and new students, so that students can love this major as soon as they enter school and cultivate their strong interest.
(B) the reform of teaching methods
According to the actual situation of the school, the goal, scope and degree of teachers' teaching should be determined to improve teachers' teaching level. Teachers should increase the flexibility of class, integrate theory with practice, and stimulate students' enthusiasm and initiative in class.
(C) a reasonable arrangement of courses, to determine the goal of training students
Colleges and universities should train students relatively professionally and enhance their professional ability according to the needs of students and society. At the same time, we should cultivate students' specialties and develop their comprehensive ability and creative personality.
Intensify the examination reform.
Teachers mainly examine students' ability to understand and use knowledge, and the examination content is flexible and diverse. When grading, students' usual attendance, learning attitude and homework should be regarded as their usual grades, which should account for a certain proportion in the comprehensive grades.
(E) strict student attendance system
School management departments should strictly check the class situation, supervise the work of administrators and teachers, and severely punish students' fluky psychology of skipping classes. At the same time, teachers in each class should strictly increase the number of class roll calls and standardize students' classroom discipline.
