The Institute of Physical Education of State University is the only public full-time general physical education institute in Henan Province, with a bachelor's degree and a deputy departmental level. It is affiliated to the Provincial Sports Bureau and its professional work is led by the Provincial Education Department. The college has a south campus and a north campus, with a campus area of about 765 mu and a building area of about10.8 million square meters. All kinds of classrooms, sports venues, laboratories, sports research institutes and other facilities are complete. The college has 6 teaching departments, 1 public teaching department and 10 undergraduate majors, covering physical education, sports training, social sports guidance and management, martial arts and national traditional sports, sports human science, leisure sports, sports news and other disciplines.
