Central University of Finance and Economics is located in Beijing. The school was founded on June 6th, 1949, 165438. At the beginning of its establishment, it was headed by the Ministry of Finance, and its names were Central Taxation School and Central Finance College successively. 1in August, 952, it merged with the departments of economics of Peking University, Tsinghua University, yenching university and Fu Jen Catholic University to form the Central College of Finance and Economics, headed by the Ministry of Higher Education.

1May, 1996, the Central College of Finance and Economics was renamed as the Central University of Finance and Economics; 1998 10, the Central Financial Management Cadre College established on the basis of the Central Financial and Financial Cadre School was merged into the Central University of Finance and Economics; In February 2000, the school was transferred from the Ministry of Finance to the Ministry of Education for direct management.
