What is a mathematical modeling contest?
Mathematical modeling competition is a competition to select players with strong mathematical ability.

The Mathematical Modeling Competition was first established in 1992, and it is selected once a year. It is one of the first 19 competitions listed in the Academic Competition Rankings.

The registration time is in the second week of September every year, and the deadline for registration is before September. Colleges and universities will organize registration in a unified way. There will be 1566 colleges and universities from all over the country and Malaysia, including 45,075 undergraduate teams and 4,454 specialist teams. About 1.4 million people signed up for the competition. The winning probability of 13 title is about 0.04%.

MCM/ICM, a mathematical modeling competition for college students, was originally sponsored by the American Federation of Mathematics and Its Applications, and is the most influential mathematical modeling competition in the world. It is also the only international mathematical modeling competition and the originator of all kinds of mathematical modeling competitions so far.
