1, Wuhan University
The history of Wuhan University can be traced back to 1893. Governor Zhang Zhidong of Huguang invited the Qing government to establish a self-improvement school. Later, it was named National Wuhan University on 1928, including Dialect School, Wuchang Teachers College, National Wuchang Teachers College, National Wuchang University and National Second Sun Yat-sen University. In 2000, the school merged with Wuhan University of Water Resources and Electric Power, Wuhan Technical University of Surveying and Mapping and Hubei Medical University to form the new Wuhan University.
2. Huazhong University of Science and Technology
The school's predecessor was Huazhong Institute of Technology established in 1952, Shanghai Wende Medical College established in 1907 and Hubei Technical School established in 1898. After inheritance and development, it was merged by Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Tongji Medical University and Wuhan Urban Construction College in 2000.
3. Wuhan University of Technology
The school of Wuhan University of Technology originated from 1898 when Zhang Zhidong, Governor of Huguang, invited the Qing government to establish Hubei Technical School. On May 27th, 2000, it was formed by the merger of Wuhan University of Technology, Wuhan Jiaotong University and Wuhan Automobile Institute. Wuhan University of Technology originated from 1948 China People's Liberation Army Northeast Military Region Ministry of Industry Professional School. After inheritance and development, 1985 was renamed Wuhan University of Technology, and 1998 was transferred from the former State Bureau of Building Materials Industry to the Director of the Ministry of Education.
4. Zhongnan University of Economics and Law
The school originated from Chung Yuan Christian University 1948 and was founded by the Central Central Plains Bureau with Deng Xiaoping as the first secretary and Chen Yi as the director of the preparatory committee. In 2000, Zhongnan University of Finance and Economics and Zhongnan College of Political Science and Law under the former Ministry of Justice merged to form Zhongnan University of Finance and Law.
5. Huazhong Normal University
Department of Chinese Language Institute founded by the school for 1903 (187 1 Mandarin Institute founded by the Anglican Church, 1924 renamed as Huazhong University), Chinese University founded by 19 12 and192. 195 1, the public Huazhong University was established, 1952, and it was transformed into Huazhong Normal University. 1953 was named Huazhong Normal University, and 1985 was renamed Huazhong Normal University, with the name inscribed by Comrade Deng Xiaoping.
