To cultivate children's basic skills, we must first start with simple throwing and catching exercises. This kind of exercise can exercise the coordination and cooperation ability and sensitivity of hands and eyes, and enhance the sense of the ball. This kind of hand-eye coordination, sensitivity and good sense of the ball are the key basic skills to play tennis well. Good hand-eye coordination will enhance and improve the ability to hit the ball accurately in sports. This sensitive reaction and feeling to the ball is the result of hand-eye coordination. It is a simple, convenient and effective way to exercise this ability and reaction by throwing and catching the ball directly with your hands without using a racket. Some people are born with this reaction ability, while others must be cultivated. When you are proficient, you can gradually increase the change of speed and direction, strength and landing point, and throw all kinds of ground balls and rebound balls.
Hitting the ball up and down is also my main training content for beginners. The method is: hold the racket, spread your arms slightly and hit the ball down or up. The height of the ball is controlled at about one foot away from the racket, and the elbow is naturally slightly extended, so you can alternately hit the face. This is called forward hitting and reverse hitting. This method is also very effective for practicing hand-eye coordination and enhancing the sense of the ball. It is also a good way to train the ability to control the ball. At the same time, it plays an auxiliary role in strengthening the strength of wrists and arms. It is more interesting than a single direct strength training, and children are interested. This kind of practice is also a training means and method to learn to use the racket and master the ball control according to local conditions under the extremely limited training conditions such as venue space.
Teaching correct and standard forehand and backhand strokes: the swing action and swing practice of serving are important contents of enlightenment training, and also an important basis for learning and mastering other techniques. In teaching, we should first teach children to be teachers, and strive for standardized movements, and then analyze and explain the structure of movements and the walking route of rackets, so that players can not only intuitively strengthen their sense of image, but also appreciate the theory of basic techniques, image guidance, imitation, theoretical guidance, independent thinking, and independent thinking without the presence of teachers. With image guidance, it is much easier to consciously accept learning actions. Under the guidance of theory, athletes can be trained to have the ability of independent thinking in the process of improving their skills, and the activity, creativity and personality of sports thinking can be improved. After mastering the correct swing, we should turn to the training of combined ball in time. For beginners, it is required to swing the racket first, then the coach delivers the ball, and when the ball jumps, hit the ball in front of you. Correct and standardized swing and forehand hitting are the key points I require for beginners, and they are also the main basic contents that a tennis player should master and solve in the enlightenment period. In order to achieve this goal, a large number of balls are used to feed the ball in training, so that they can contact the ball repeatedly and frequently without being afraid of difficulties, and gradually enhance their self-confidence and the pleasure of success. Then ask them to know, feel and understand other aspects of hitting, such as why and how to fully relax the backhand, the importance of relaxation and backhand to playing well, and so on. Beginners must fully understand and feel, and pay special attention to this point in teaching.
