Located in Chongqing, Southwest University, referred to as "Xida University" for short, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), and co-founded with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and Chongqing. It ranks among the national "double-first-class", "21engineering", "985 engineering advantage discipline innovation platform" and "double-first-class" member universities of the Agricultural Federation.
