Southern College of Sun Yat-sen University is an independent college jointly founded by Sun Yat-sen University and Guangdong Zhujiang Investment Group with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2006. It is a multi-disciplinary full-time application-oriented undergraduate college, and was selected as a pilot college for undergraduate transformation in Guangdong Province in 20 16.
At present, the school has 10 departments and 40 majors, forming a discipline system with management, economy and literature as the mainstay, coordinated development of engineering, science, medicine and art, reasonable structure and complementary advantages. At present, the school undertakes 3 national projects, 32 provincial and ministerial projects 132, and 33 horizontal projects, with a total project funding of 2 1.9 1.9 million yuan.
