Keeping it yourself will eventually become a dead file.
Three major directions of graduation archives:
1. Transfer the file to the receiving work unit.
This is generally regarded as the most formal file flow, but according to statistics, this situation only accounts for about 10% of graduate files.
Suitable for the crowd: graduates who have already implemented their jobs.
Disadvantages: I need to find a job after graduation, and the time is tight.
2. Leave the documents at school
Due to the relevant national policies and regulations, graduates can not find employment units temporarily after graduation, and their files can be kept by the school for two years free of charge. After the implementation of the work unit, the accounts and files will be moved to the place where the work unit is located. If the application file has not been executed for more than two years, the school will move its file and account back to its place of origin, and the school will no longer issue employment registration cards for it.
Suitable for the crowd: graduates who have employment aspirations but are not yet employed.
Disadvantages: the validity period is only two years, and you can't issue a certificate involving personnel relations.
3. Transfer files to employment agencies or talent exchange centers.
First of all, we must make sure whether we have signed a tripartite agreement when we graduate. This is an agreement signed by students, schools and work units. If we sign it, the remarks column of the registration card will not be blank, and the file is in the talent market where this unit is located. If it is not signed, the remarks column of the registration card is empty, and the default is to call home.
Suitable for the crowd: graduates who are preparing for postgraduate entrance examination, entrepreneurship and flexible employment.
Disadvantages: there is relatively little communication with the employment guidance center, which is easy to cause poor information.
Experts remind: manage personal files correctly.
Employment guidance experts suggest that after graduation, if the work unit can't accept the files and accounts, you'd better put the files in the talent center first, sign an agency contract with the talent center, and suggest choosing the talent center according to the principle of "nearby". If graduates choose to work in big cities such as Shanghai and Beijing and cannot settle down for the time being, they can consider moving their hukou and files back to their original places first. Files left in the hands of individuals should be returned to the restoration unit or the government-owned talent service institution as soon as possible. If you open the file cover, the information inside must be verified by the relevant departments. If the file is lost, it shall be supplemented and confirmed by the original unit.
For job-hoppers, if they leave their files in the original unit for a long time, they should negotiate with the original unit as soon as possible to solve the remaining problems after job-hopping and hand over the files to the new unit in time.
For graduates who don't know where the files are, they should contact the relevant departments of a school before taking part in the work. Foreign graduates can consult the personnel department where their original household registration is located, and those who have changed jobs many times can consult the first unit.
At the same time, experts also remind fresh graduates to remember to consult the school about the whereabouts of personnel files and accounts after leaving school. If the job search is successful, you can ask the unit how to receive the personnel files. If the unit doesn't accept the file, you should ask clearly where the file can be transferred.
