Donghua University, located in Shanghai, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It is a national "double-class" and "2 1 1 project" construction university, and was selected as "201/plan" and "165438".

The development of history
19 12 in April, Zhang Jian and his brother Zhang Peng borrowed the workshop of pig iron factory and Sheng Da Textile Factory to set up a textile printing and dyeing workshop, and began to train professionals in the textile field in China in the form of schools.
In the autumn of the same year, it was renamed Nantong Textile School, the earliest textile institution of higher learning in China, with Zhang Yan as the principal and Zhang Jian as the honorary principal. 19 13, Zhang Jian and others donated a school building to the southeast of Sheng Da Cotton Textile Factory and changed it to Nantong Textile College.

As of August, 2022, the school has 6 post-doctoral research stations, including one first-class doctoral program 1 1, three professional doctoral programs, 29 first-class master programs, two master programs in two disciplines, and seven professional master programs1.
