Liangxiang New Town, namely Liangxiang University Town Higher Education Park and Changyang Plate, is the key development area of Fangshan in recent five years. For the whole Fangshan, there is not too eye-catching industrial planning. Before Fangshan, the most famous industry was tourism, because the southwest of Fangshan was full of scenic spots, including Dushi, Zhoukoudian and Changgou Wetland Park.

At present, Fangshan has identified "Beihang Town" and "Fund Town", but these two plans are mainly in Doudian and Changgou outside the Sixth Ring Road of Fangshan, and the development speed is slow, and there is no obvious effect in the short term.

At present, Fangshan has opened the city rail-Fangshan line, which is connected with Guogongzhuang subway station on Line 9 and reaches Suzhuang subway station in Fangshan, basically connecting Fangshan Changyang and Liangxiang with the urban area.
At present, Fangshan North Line is under construction, and it is expected to open to traffic on 20 19. At that time, it will go directly from Guogongzhuang subway station, the starting station, to the first economic and trade subway station of 10 line and to the South Third Ring Road, which will greatly shorten the time to enter the city.
In terms of self-driving transportation, it is mainly the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway and the Beijing-Kunming Expressway, and the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway is the closest route to xiong'an new area in the future.

Fangshan's most important planning now is Liangxiang University Town Higher Education Park. There are two higher education parks in Beijing, one is Shahe Higher Education Park in Changping and the other is Fangshan Liangxiang Higher Education Park.
At present, six universities have moved into this Liangxiang Higher Education Park: Beijing Institute of Technology, Technology and Business University, University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Capital Normal University and Academy of Social Sciences. With the relocation of Armed Police General Hospital, Fangshan's medical resources have been greatly improved. The Armed Police General Hospital project has been capped, with an estimated 6,000 beds, which will be put into use in 20 19 years, fully meeting the medical needs of Fangshan people.
So in general, Fangshan's transportation, commerce, education and medical resources can fully meet people's needs, and Fangshan is the only value depression in Beijing 12 area at present.
