Since 1986, Hebei Geo University, China Geo University, capital university of economics and business University and Tianjin University have jointly enrolled and trained graduate students. In 2003, it was approved by the State Council Academic Degrees Committee as a master's degree awarding unit. The Graduate Office was established in 2004, and the enrollment of graduate students began in the same year. Founded in 2006, the Graduate School is responsible for graduate enrollment, training, degree awarding, student management and graduate employment. There are enrollment offices, training offices, degree offices, student work offices, employment offices and comprehensive offices.

Through years of postgraduate education reform and practice, the school has accumulated rich postgraduate training experience, and the quality of postgraduate education and the academic level of scientific research have been continuously improved. The school has first-class disciplines such as geology, geological resources and geological engineering, management science and engineering, computer science and technology, law, applied economics, mathematics, materials science and engineering, environmental science and engineering, public administration, etc. 1 1 master's degree authorization points (covering two disciplines 5 1 master's degree authorization points). In 2000, our school's "Enterprise Management" was rated as a ministerial key discipline by the Ministry of Land and Resources. The school has three national teaching demonstration centers: geoscience experimental center, geological testing center and economic management experimental center. It has water resources and environment experimental center, jewelry and mineral processing experimental center, digital land experimental center, physics experimental center, entrepreneurial virtual simulation experimental teaching center and five provincial experimental teaching demonstration centers; Has a provincial outsourcing service base. It has two provincial key laboratories: sustainable utilization and development of water resources, photoelectric information and earth exploration technology. It has a research base of mineral resources strategy and management in Hebei Province, a research base of natural resources assets capital management in Hebei Province, a field scientific observation research base of the Ministry of Land and Resources, a soft science research base of mineral resources development management and resource-based industry transformation and upgrading in Hebei Province, an applied technology research and development center of eco-geological environment monitoring and early warning and geological disaster prevention in colleges and universities in Hebei Province, and a collaborative innovation center of sustainable utilization of water resources and industrial structure optimization in Hebei Province, which has built a good platform for postgraduate training and academic research activities.
