Besides the four major aviation universities, what other aviation universities are there in China?
There are also civil aviation university of china, China Civil Aviation Flight Academy, zhengzhou institute of aeronautical industry management and North China Aerospace Institute.

Four universities of aeronautics and astronautics: Beihang University, HKUST School of Aerospace and Materials Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology, and Xigong University.

1. Since its establishment, Beihang University, under the guidance of the Party's policy of "rejuvenating the country through science and education" and in the face of the tide of reform, opening up and market economy, has constantly changed its concepts, adapted to the situation, pursued development through reform, pursued innovation through development, and worked closely with the Party and the government to find a new way that has both aerospace characteristics and is suitable for the development of the Aerospace Academy. The college now has three undergraduate majors. Aircraft design and engineering (aerospace) research aircraft include satellites, spaceships, space stations, deep space probes, launch vehicles, space shuttles and other spacecraft and missiles; Aircraft power engineering (aerospace) mainly studies rocket engines used for orbit control and attitude control of spacecraft such as missiles and rockets. Detection, guidance and control technology mainly studies new inertial devices, theory and simulation research of guidance and control system, photoelectric precision instruments and testing technology.

2. The School of Aerospace and Materials Engineering of National University of Defense Technology is located on the beautiful Xiangjiang River in the ancient city of Changsha. The predecessor of the College is the Missile Engineering Department under the famous Harbin Military Engineering College of China People's Liberation Army, which was founded in 1959. Featuring military aerospace and new material technology, the College is geared to the military and national defense industries, and is mainly engaged in the cultivation and scientific research of high-quality talents such as overall design technology, propulsion technology, control and test launch technology, new material technology and applied chemical technology of various aircrafts such as satellites and missiles.

3.1In June, 1987, with the approval of the Ministry of Aerospace Industry, the school established the Aerospace Academy, which consists of control engineering department, radio engineering department, mechanics department and general laboratory of aircraft. This is the first institute in China to train senior aerospace professionals and engage in aerospace high-tech research.

4. Aerospace College is one of the "Three Navigation" characteristic colleges of Northwestern Polytechnical University. There are three undergraduate majors in aircraft design and engineering, detection guidance and control technology and aircraft power engineering, and six master's and doctoral majors in aircraft design, navigation guidance and control and aerospace propulsion theory and engineering. Among them, three undergraduate majors are famous brands in Shaanxi Province, and the theory and engineering of aircraft design and aerospace propulsion are rated as national key disciplines.
