Xiamen Institute of Technology, founded in 198 1, is located in Xiamen City, Fujian Province. It is a key construction university and a first-class discipline construction university in Fujian Province. The school can be traced back to 1978, eight junior college classes of industry, architecture and finance run by Xiamen municipal government. After many mergers and renaming, it was officially renamed Xiamen Institute of Technology in 2004.
