How is it that teenagers play anesthetic from the palace?
Recently, a news that a teenager in the palace is playing anesthetic has attracted attention. I believe many people are deeply impressed by the scenes of the legendary swordsman Dong Fangbubai practicing Sunflower Collection and Lin Pingzhi and Yue Buqun practicing Sword Spectrum to ward off evil spirits. Recently, a 17-year-old boy also waved a knife from the palace, but not to practice, but to stop the pain.

On April 5th, Guangzhou Daily's all-media reporter learned from the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University that 17-year-old boy had his testicles and epididymis removed by himself, and was sent to the emergency department of the hospital for rescue due to massive hemorrhage. Why do teenagers do this?

The all-media reporter of Guangzhou Daily learned that Xiaoming (a pseudonym), aged 17, was hospitalized and refused to face the media.

According to the emergency doctor, Xiao Ming was taken to the hospital on the last day of March, when his lower body was bleeding. Preliminary examination revealed that Xiaoming's scrotum and epididymis were missing, and there was a local hematoma in the scrotum area, accompanied by pain and continuous bleeding. He claimed that he had an operation a few hours ago. In the early morning of the same day, he drank wine, gave himself an anesthetic, and then wielded a knife to remove the testis and epididymis. "Now I feel that the anesthetic has receded, which is too painful."

Due to the emergency situation, the emergency department of Zhongshan Sixth Hospital quickly opened a "green channel" for Xiaoming, conducted emergency ultrasound, blood drawing and other related examinations, inserted catheters, and urgently contacted urology consultation.

Soon the ultrasound results came out, suggesting that the patient had "obvious scrotum swelling and huge hematoma inside, but no clear testis and epididymis tissue in the body". In order to prevent the wound from further infection, attending surgeon Ma Bo immediately contacted the anesthesiology department for emergency operation.

"We need to clear the hematoma tissue in the scrotum, find the bleeding point to stop bleeding, and re-ligate the spermatic cord stump." Ma Bo said that after the operation, it is necessary to observe for a few days to confirm that there is no infection in the wound before leaving the hospital.
