Zhejiang Media College, referred to as "Zhejiang Biography", is a university founded by the State Administration of Radio and Television and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province. It has been selected into the National College Students' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Plan, the National Model School of Language Standardization, the National College with Typical Experience in Graduate Employment, the party member Education Demonstration Training Base and the Zhejiang Application-oriented Construction Pilot Model School.
College was formed by the merger of Zhejiang Radio and Television School (founded in 1978) and Zhejiang Radio and Television College (founded in 1984) in 2000. In 2004, the college was officially renamed as Zhejiang Media College. 20 10 The People's Government of Zhejiang Province signed an agreement with the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television to establish Zhejiang Media College.

The school is an Erasmus project unit of the European Union. We have cooperated with Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand, Coventry University in the United Kingdom and Bolton University to organize Sino-foreign cooperative education projects, and cooperated with many universities such as the State University of New York at Stony Brook, the University of Missouri, and the University of New South Wales in Australia to carry out multi-level joint training projects.
The school is the training base of international humanities exchange and media talents of the Ministry of Education, the National and Regional Research Center of the Ministry of Education, the project unit of the teacher-student exchange project between Hong Kong, Macao and mainland universities of the Ministry of Education, the implementation unit of the international cooperation training project of innovative talents of the National Scholarship Fund Committee, and the project unit of the National Regional Research Talents Support Project of the National Scholarship Fund Committee.
It is also a project unit of China-foreign high-level college student exchange program of the Ministry of Education, a member unit of Zhejiang-Africa Higher Education Partnership Program, an exchange base with Taiwan in Zhejiang Province, and a construction unit of the national education studio for overseas students in Zhejiang Province.
