Headquartered in Beijing, North China Electric Power University (Baoding Campus) is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and jointly established by the Ministry of Education. It is a 985, double-class university. Its electrical engineering is a first-class discipline. In the fourth round of discipline evaluation, electrical engineering got A, power engineering and engineering thermophysics got A-. North China Electric Power University is one of the two dragons and four tigers in the power system. It is too easy for its graduates to access the power grid.

Northeastern University (Qinhuangdao Branch) is located in Shenyang. It is also a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and under the key construction of the Ministry of Education. It's a 985, double-class, but it was rated as B in the double-class selection, and its strength declined. Its first-level discipline is control science and engineering. In the fourth round of discipline evaluation, control science and engineering got A, and materials science and engineering, computer science and technology and software engineering got A-.

3. Hebei University of Technology, located in Tianjin, is the only 2 1 1 in Hebei, or two. The first-level discipline of Hebei University of Technology is electrical engineering. B+ (Chemical Engineering and Technology) is the best in subject evaluation, along with four B's (Mechanical Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration) and two B's (Control Science and Engineering, Management Science and Engineering). 4. Yanshan University is located in Qinhuangdao, not 2 1 1, but originated from Harbin Institute of Technology, formerly known as Institute of Heavy Machinery of Harbin Institute of Technology, with strong mechanical engineering strength. In the fourth round of discipline evaluation, mechanical engineering of Yanshan University got A- and material science and engineering got B+, with three Bs (control science and technology, computer science and technology, chemical engineering and technology) and three Bs (software engineering, management science and engineering, instrument science and technology). Two national key disciplines are mechanical engineering and materials science and engineering, and five national key disciplines are two disciplines, namely, mechanical manufacturing and automation, mechanical and electronic engineering, mechanical design and theory, vehicle engineering and materials science.
