Yeshiva University (new york) is a private university established in 1886. The school has seven campuses, six of which are in new york and one in Israel. It is a leading research institution and ranked 50th among American national universities in 2008. Undergraduate schools of Yeshiva University, such as Theological Seminary, Stern Women's College and Siweisens Business School, offer unique dual courses, which are mainly inspired by the oil motor philosophy of orthodox Jewish law, meaning "the study of law and secularism"-"the best combination of contemporary academic education and eternal teaching law". Yeshiva University is an independent institution chartered by the State of New York. The school is also an educational institution recognized by the Central State Higher Education Accreditation Association and other professional academic institutions.
