Calligraphy College is a secondary college of Beijing Art Media Vocational College. The college emphasizes the foundation of Chinese studies, attaches importance to cultural accomplishment, and emphasizes the combination of theory and practice, foundation and individuality, and integration and specialty, and gradually forms a calligraphy education and teaching system with college characteristics. The college aims to cultivate professionals with innovative practice and academic research ability.

The college has strengthened the construction of teaching staff through training, introduction and other forms, and formed a high-level teaching staff. The College has hired famous calligraphers such as Mr. He Qiyetu, vice chairman of China Calligraphers Association and professor of Art College of Inner Mongolia University, Mr. Chen Xiwei, professor of China University for Nationalities, Mr. Xue Fubin, director of China Calligraphers Association, vice chairman of Beijing Calligraphers Association, famous painter, vice chairman of Liaoning Calligraphers Association and Mr. Qu Xiucheng, member of China Calligraphers Association, as academic consultants and academic leaders.

Calligraphy (Education) major is now offered in Calligraphy College, covering many research directions such as regular script, running script, cursive script, official script and seal script. As a characteristic specialty of our college, it has gradually exerted an influence in Beijing and even the whole country. The college has established two calligraphy training rooms, 1 workshop and 1 studio. The cultural literacy art base is 400 square meters, and the college has a large collection of celebrity calligraphy's works, exceeding 5,000 square feet.

Off-campus practice bases include China Painting Academy, Beijing Painting Academy and China Art Museum, as well as painting and calligraphy management company, culture and art communication company and art city.
